GENESIS 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
GENESIS 3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
GENESIS 3:24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
And so, from the time of man’s expulsion from Paradise until the end of the world cometh, the Sword that turns in all directions has and shall keep the way of the tree of life. Unto God’s only begotten Son who paved the way to eternal life by the words that proceeded from his mouth through doctrine and instruction was given to his hand the Sword that defendeth access to the tree of life by those unworthy to eat thereof. Furthermore, we were forewarned by He that hath the Sword that “none shall enter the Kingdom of God but by me”. “For no man hath ascended up to Heaven, but He who came down from Heaven, even the son of man which is in Heaven”. Who then knoweth the way better than He? By the words of his mouth we were given this hope “For God so Loved the world, that he gave his Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life”. (Conditions apply, see Jesus Christ for details).
